Google Mock Up Ideas

This is the my first idea for my google mock-up. I focused the main story on the band I used as my cover stars. I used one of the font styles I found while researching the iconography for my product as I thought the chosen style would work well with my magazine. I included many of the conventions of a magazine but when I make my final version I will to include more. While I was researching other magazine i found that the artists tend to cover part of the title so I also tried to do this, as this is my first practise attempt at this it doesn't look as good as planned but I plan to improve this on my actual version. I used the colour scheme I planned throughout the magazine cover.
For this version of my front cover I kept a lot of things the same as my first version but I changed the colour of the masthead. I kept the colour within the chosen colour scheme and i decided to change the colour as a way to see which version would look best over all. I used the same blue as I used for the cell lines and changed the colour of the type to black so the word can be read easier and so it stand out against the blue.
My third version of the magazine is very similar to the first two as i only changed the colour of the masthead again. This time I used the same red from my chosen scheme, the red that I used for the main story cell lines. I did the same thing with the colour of the type for this font as the black writing against the red works well and fits within my music genre very well.

This is my first attempt at a contents page. I kept the same colour scheme that I had already used for my front cover. I decided to use the first version of the mock up to create this as I used the black and white version of my masthead for this page. When I make my actual contents page I will make it look better as I believe this version of it looks low in quality and not something that would be found in a music magazine. I included most of the feature ideas that I previously wrote about. I decided to make the page more visual and include many photographs of the bands and artists mentioned in the main features.
This is my google mock up version of a double page spread. I decided to make my double page spread more of a visual page rather than a page that has lots of text and articles. For this double page spread I used the same band that I had previously used for the front cover and contents page. I also kept the same colour scheme from my front cover and contents page. I made that the page included a page number, and from my research on double page spreads I found the image of the mast head is usually included at the bottom corners of the page so I included this on my page also.
