Double Page Spread House Styles

In these issues of Kerrang the double page spreads are mainly dominated by a photograph of the band or artist that is going to be interviewed or talked about. This shows the audience who the article is going to be about and whether they are going to be interested in reading it.
The title of the article is always quite large on one side of the double page and has a font and colour that relates to the article or picture. This is so that it gives the article a direction to move in and so the audience know what the article is going to be about. Underneath the title is a summary of what the article is going to be about. This is used to inform the reader of what they are going to read if they decide to read it. The small amount of text underneath the title and summary is only a short part of the article as it is likely for it to continue onto the next page. It is smaller than the rest of the writing so that it doesn't dominate the page like the image does and if there appears to be a lot of writing initially then there is a chance that a reader might not read it.
