Contents Page Drafts

I decided to not keep the same layout as my google mock-up as I wasn't very pleased with the outcome of it. For my actual outcome I decided to look at more contents pages from existing magazines within my chosen genre and I took inspiration from them. For my contents page I chose to add the masthead from my front cover as I think it makes the page look better and also tells the audience what magazine it is. I kept to the same colour scheme from my front cover and I also kept the 3D effect from the photograph of the cover star. On the background of my front cover I used the white to black gradient and decided to use that on this background too as the background on the earlier versions seemed to be plain and when it was added it seemed to make the page look better. On the last few versions I added an author's note as the magazines I looked at for inspiration all contained one and a picture of the front cover next to it, which I also included. I used the same font as the front cover to make sure that I kept to the style I used on my front cover.
